What Happened To My Hyperlinks In Gmail

5:46 am How-To

You may have noticed the new look with Google and Gmail in iGoogle. All the links in your email from gmail are now not working. If you wish to restore these links, follow the following steps as outlined by Google:

To enable this feature in Gmail:

1. Sign in to Gmail.
2. Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page.
3. Set ‘Browser Connection’ to ‘Always use https.’
4. Click Save Changes.
5. Reload Gmail.

Update:
When you click on your Gmail inbox, look in the upper right hand corner and click on “Launch Full Gmail”, this will bring back the full version of gmail with all the links active.

    Hi Rob,

I tried that and some links are still not clickable like before and others are clickable like before.

Also, there is no “Launch Full Gmail” link.

Since not all links are affected, could it be that Gmail has a build in blacklist which doesn’t link certain links while it does others? Or is this maybe simply a bug on their end?

    Best regards,

    Frank Bauer
